Movieclips TAG Original Video Series

2015 was a big year for movies. “Fast 7,” “Jurassic World,” “Minions,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” and “Kung Fu Panda 3” all released that year. To promote these upcoming movies, Fandango’s creative team was tasked to create original content. The final concept was an original video series featuring street artists painting their unique interpretation of the franchise IP. My role was to set the brand aesthetic, style, and find the talent. I was able to curate a list of artists who were not only extremely talented, but also extremely professional.

The series featured kaNO Kid (“Fast 7”), Andrew “Sket One” Yasgar (“Jurassic World”), Jesse Hernandez (“Minions”), Christina Angelina and Hueman (“Star Wars: The Force Awakens”), and Aaron “Woes” Martin (“Kung Fu Panda 3”). Iconic locations included Universal Studios Hollywood and YouTube Space LA. The video series proved the capabilities of the creative content and video teams and opened up discussions with studios and partners that led to additional content partnerships.
